Peco Spotlight: Tom Milhous

As the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager for Peco Foods, I oversee the QA managers across our eight processing facilities. I often travel between plants for internal customer audits and to ensure each team is correctly following all food safety procedures.

During my tenure with Peco, I’ve found that our definition of quality is something that sets us apart from the rest. We are known for our high-quality products and are continually looking for ways to improve and drive excellence in everything we do.

While the industry continues to shift toward more automation, our team members are essential to back the machines and ensure a quality product. We have a strong team in place that understands our customers’ needs and helps us provide a variety of dependable products.

I’ve spent nearly 40 years in the poultry industry, and while a lot has changed, Peco’s family-owned operation and values haven’t. They’ve stayed true to who they are to take care of their team members, customers and communities. While I look forward to retirement one day, Peco is going to be a hard company to leave.
