Peco Spotlight: James Chester

I’ve been with Peco since 2011 when they bought the feed mill in Newark, Arkansas, but have over 30 years of experience in the industry. The biggest change I’ve seen over the years is in seed research and irrigation. When I started, crops were at the mercy of Mother Nature, but now farmers can produce a much greater yield with advances in irrigation and seed varieties. Arkansas is home, and I enjoy working with our neighbors and farmers and supporting our local communities to grow.

Peco has standards when it comes to grain and other ingredients for our feed. We work with farmers within a local radius of our mills to buy as much grain as possible from our local communities and farmers. We do our best to buy the highest quality grain we can and connect local farmers with the best solutions for selling their grain. Honesty, integrity and experience defines us and the local farmers we work with.
