Vision

Peco Foods, Inc. is proud to announce the formation of the John Herman Hickman Foundation. The Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization that was formed on July 8, 2011 and named in honor of the founder of our company, Mr. John Herman Hickman, who led Peco Foods for almost 50 years from 1935-1983.

The purposes of the Foundation are primarily 1.) To provide aid to victims of catastrophic natural disasters in and around our geographic region and 2.) To provide scholarships, either partial or full, to the children of Peco employees and Peco growers.

The ultimate goal is to allow the Foundation to be put to use for the benefit of Peco Foods' employees, their children and the communities in which they live.

Mission

The mission of the John Herman Hickman Foundation is to provide scholarships to the children of Peco employees and growers, to actively serve victims of catastrophic natural disasters in and around our geographic region and to donate to local charities that have a positive impact and strengthen the communities surrounding Peco operations.
