Peco Foods, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor on night shift at our further processing plant in Canton, MS.

General Responsibility:

This is a management position and starting salary is based upon the candidate’s work experience and education levels. We are looking for a motivated, goal oriented candidate that is looking for career advancement. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment. Looks for improvement opportunities within the department and facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise 3 clerks and housekeeping.
  • Manage all human resources at night for Fulton St. plant.
  • Verify daily paperwork in the department.
  • Works with USDA to provide all paperwork required.
  • Comply with all written corporate and plant policies.
  • Be familiar with the various types of processes throughout the processing plant.
  • Have a strong working knowledge and understanding of Plant Policies, HACCP, SSOP, etc.
  • Reviews the necessary reports and forms to comply with all government regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
  • Be involved in employee disciplinary actions at suspension and discharge levels.
  • Maintain and oversee daily reports.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • College degree.
