Peco is searching for an Accounting Manager at our live operations plant in Pocahontas, AR.

Summary Description:

Responsible for all operations accounting and month end financials.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

1. Supervision over hatchery, breeder, broiler, processing, feed mill, and grain and truck shop accounting.
2. Supervises preparation of weekly performance report.
3. Responsible for weekly, monthly and other agrimetric and agri-stat reports.
4. Responsible for budget reports and month end financials.
5. Must have knowledgeable use of computers and required programs.
6. Prepares weekly estimates.
7. Files census reports.
8. Helps prepare annual budget.

Secondary Functions/Duties:

1. Other duties as assigned.
2. Special projects as assigned.

Supervision:

1. Accounting clerks in flock accounting.

Qualifications/Experience/License:

1. Two to three years’ experience in accounting.
2. Good general accounting background.
3. 10-key calculator, CRT/data entry.
4. Good computers skills with various programs – preferably Microsoft applications.
5. Good math background.

Educational Requirements:

1. Degree in accounting, finance or business management.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

1. Minimal lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
2. Some bending and climbing.
3. Requires very detailed oriented work, sitting for extended periods of time (2-3 hours).
